Saori Nakamishi creates immersive Neo-Pop worlds where Lolita aesthetics, kawaii culture, and psychological storytelling converge through painting, sculpture, and installation.
Saori Nakamishi is a contemporary Japanese artist and co-founder of Studio CrazyNoodles, the Tokyo-based artistic platform established with Hiro Ando. Trained in aesthetics and visual arts, she has developed a distinctive artistic language that merges Japanese popular culture, emotional introspection, and highly refined visual environments.
Her paintings are recognized for their luminous heroines, psychedelic color palettes, and dreamlike atmospheres. Recurring characters such as Cherry, Angel, Jewel, and Heart inhabit emotionally charged spaces where innocence, desire, nostalgia, and self-discovery coexist.
Beyond painting, Nakamishi expands her universe through sculptural projects and plexiglass installations.
