POTCHI MOOPP is a young Japanese artist born in 1984.
She lives and works in Nagoya (Japan).
She paints in a style very close to the Pop Surealist American Artists.
The themes in Moopp's work are fantastic and virtual worlds. Her precise technical style is at once influenced by both manga comics and computer graphic.
In Japan there was a very clear line between manga and fine art but now comic fans start to take artists as Potchi Moopp as a genuine mangaka and people who like fine art take them as genuine artists
