Nakamura was born in November 1987 in Kagoshima, in Southern Japan.
After graduating, she became a freelance artist. Brought up in a liberal atmosphere, she recognised the many magical figures that flourish in our day-to-day society. Because of this, she produces not only a figure or situation but generates a certain visual and encompassing feeling. Nakamura paints following three principles: emphasis on the hardness of bones such as ribs, flexibility of the muscles in the shoulders and abdomen, and softness of the fat in the breasts and bottom.
